Once a successful judgement has been awarded, it can be difficult to get payment from the loser of the case, especially if there is no insurance cover.
Fortunately, there are several methods we can pursue to enforce the decision of the court. The court has several ways in which you may enforce a judgment to get it paid, including:
• Warrant of Execution – instruct a bailiff to recover the debt
• Attachment of Earnings Order – deduct monies from the loser’s wages
• Third Party Debt Order – payment of money from bank accounts or third parties
• Charging Order – charging a house or asset with a debt
