History
Martyn Prowel Solicitors was formed in 1996 by Martyn Prowel, Bob Edwards and Hywel Davies who had previously been Partners in the long standing Cardiff firm of Hallinans Solicitors . In 2015 the firm moved to its present location in the heart of Cardiff City centre at The Aspect , 140 Queen Street , Cardiff.
Gartsides Solicitors was founded by Gordon Gartside in Newport, South Wales in 1956. In the 1970s the firm was purchased by Robert Davies and David Harding, when it became Gartside Harding and Davies. Branches were opened in Abergavenny, Brynmawr, Tredegar and Ebbw Vale trading as ‘Gartsides’ managed by Sian Lewis and Lynda Rhead with offices at 1 Corn Street, Newport , 11 Nevill Street , Abergavenny and The Innovation Centre in Ebbw Vale .
