Cardiff Solicitors announce Chosen Charity for 2017-18 as Bullies Out, a local charity which tackle bullying.
We are very proud to announce our Chosen Charity for the 2017-18 year is Bullies Out. Based in Ocean Way, Cardiff, Bullies Out have as their vision:
“for all individuals to recognise their self-worth and potential and to flourish in a positive, caring environment free from oppression and abuse.”
Since 2006 Bullies Out have educated thousands of people each year with a view to minimising incidents of bullying. By educating people on how to identify and report bullying they hope to achieve their vision. Bullies Out also provide support to people who have suffered at the hands of bullies through their network of mentors.

As sponsors of the Cardiff Life Awards’ Charity Category, we offered to take on the winner as our Charity of the Year. We are delighted that such a deserving charity won the prestigious award.
In the long term, bullying can have life-changing psychological effects including depression, social anxiety, and low self-esteem. Bullying oppresses people and it stops them achieving their full potential. We look forward to raising awareness for the serious repercussions of bullying, and to contributing to the end of bullying as a whole.
To start off our year of fundraising and collaboration with Bullies Out we have already undertaken a bake sale where we raised just under £50 for the charity. We were pleased to have Linda James MBE, Founder and Chief Executive of Bullies Out, attend our office to meet some of the team here and to accept our donation.
We look forward to the coming year with Bullies Out as our Chosen Charity. We intend to donate the monies raised by our Annual Charity Ball this year to Bullies Out and will be looking towards holding a separate Charity Quiz this year to aid our fundraising.
