Beth graduated the University of Exeter with a Law degree in 2017. She completed her Legal Practice Course in 2019 and achieved a distinction and later her Masters in Law. Alongside her studies, Beth has also volunteered at an international non-profit, Global Brigades, where she provided family law advice in rural Panama.
Since joining Martyn Prowel Gartsides, Beth qualified as a solicitor and in January 2025, Beth was accredited as a member of the Law Society’s Children Law Panel. As a member of the Children Law Panel, Beth has demonstrated a high level of knowledge and skill in handling complex cases involving children.
Beth has experience in representing families involved with Children’s Services ranging from care proceedings, deprivation of liberty proceedings, secure accommodation and special guardianship orders.
Beth’s practice is primarily consists of representing parents when Children’s Services have issued care proceedings and when Children’s Services are contemplating removing their children so decide to hold a public law outline (PLO) meeting. Beth has represented family members in care proceedings involving a variety of concerns including neglect, abuse, non-accidental injuries, substance misuse and domestic violence.
Beth also has experience in representing families through court proceedings involving Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and forced marriage.
